in the margin.

in the margin is a virtual space for readers who think on the edge of the page.

In the margin is more than a book review blog. It’s a community of readers, a space for us to discuss any ideas and insights inspired by the books we’ve read.

Every month, Krista recommends a thought-provoking book and posts a personal review of the book, a list of discussion questions, and sometimes resources to expand on the book’s themes.

“I’m interested in books that can spark discussions and debates and that represent a diversity of voices from around the world. Our book picks include both recent and older publications, both prize-winners and less known reads. What they all have in common is the power to inspire conversations between people. That’s how our community thrives.” – Krista Timeus

Our community of readers is as diverse as what we read: we welcome people of all ages and backgrounds to read along and join our virtual discussions.
